Hallway
On entering the cottage there is a hallway laid with hand made terracotta floor tiles. A pine settle stand and coat hooks provide plenty of storage. Room for walking boots and wellies too!
Dining Area
Just left off the hallway is the light and airy dining room. There is an old solid pine table with seating for four, a lovely antique pine dresser and plenty of light from the three large windows. Contemporary wooden blinds are fitted throughout the dining room, painted beams and vintage charm are features of this room.
Main Double Bedroom
Turn right off the hallway is the master bedroom. An attractive antique metal double bed with a comfortable mattress, wardrobe and dressing table feature in this room. A large window with wooden blinds looks out on the pretty cottage garden.
Double Bedroom
Just off the dining area is the second bedroom. This quirky room has an unusual, tempting, raised bed in a nautical decorated alcove. The bed is an unusual size and measures 5ft wide by 5ft 9 inches long. The flint wall in this room is exposed and has been sympathetically painted to give you a real feel of the architecture of the building. Here you will find a single wardrobe.
Living Room
Our living room is very cosy and homely. The large three seater sofa is very comfortable and a relaxing chair too. The perfect end to the day is to enjoy lighting the log burner which is a lovely feature of the room. We provide a large basket of logs and kindling for your stay. This is seasonal.
We have Sky Q and a DVD player with a large range of DVD's to choose from. Books, jigsaw puzzles and games are available too.
Kitchen
The very spacious country shaker kitchen. Lots of space to be able to cook here at Church View Cottage should you wish to dine at home. Fully equipped with an electric double oven with grill, large fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, slow cooker and the usual toaster and kettle. You will find there is plenty of storage and everything you need for a self catering holiday.
Bathroom
A corridor leads from the living area to the stylishly decorated bathroom. The bathroom has just been updated ( January 2022) with a large accessible walk in shower with tile panelling.
Garden
The garden here at Church View Cottage is a good size with lots of seasonal shrubs, trees and flowers to enjoy.
In the garden you will find there is plenty of space for you to unwind, relax and eat. There's room for some zoomies too!
Plenty of shady spots for your dogs to relax in too and space for your dogs to play.
The garden is fully enclosed with 4ft fencing being the shortest on the right hand side of the garden. There are also shrubs and roses growing in the border before the fence.
In the shed you will find reclining chairs, barbecue, a dog hairdryer and Muddy Daddy. There is an outdoor hose available too.
We haven't had any escapees! Here's what our recent guest said....
"It was so nice to let them out in the garden first thing in the morning and in the evening, knowing they were safe and couldn't wander."
A secure gate leads out to a very large parking area.
In the garden is a shed with sun loungers and a BBQ to use.
We even have our own tide board so you can plan your trips to the beach!
